Privacy Policy

We run a confidential legal intake service that connects people who may have been harmed by sports betting apps with attorneys who handle those cases. To do that, we collect contact information and details about your situation, share it with participating attorneys, and use standard marketing and analytics tools. This policy explains exactly what we do, what you can opt out of, and how to reach us with questions.

01. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how True Blue Performance, LLC (“SportsBetLawsuit.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about users of the SportsBetLawsuit.com website (the “Site”) and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

SportsBetLawsuit.com is a legal advertising and intake service. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and are not a lawyer referral service. Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our Terms of Use for more detail.

02. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you fill out the case review form, call our intake line, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you give us, which may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and zip code
  • Age or age range, and the age at which you began using sports betting apps
  • Which sports betting apps you used (e.g., DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN Bet, Fanatics)
  • Approximate amount of financial losses
  • Whether you received VIP host contact, promotional offers, or were diagnosed with a gambling disorder
  • Any additional details you choose to share about your situation

Some of this information may be considered sensitive (such as health-related details about a gambling disorder diagnosis). You are not required to share any particular piece of information, but some fields are required to evaluate your potential eligibility for a lawsuit.

Phone call information

If you call our intake number or speak with a representative, your call may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and case-evaluation purposes. You will be notified of recording in accordance with applicable law.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (derived from IP)
  • Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and referring URL
  • Date and time of visits
  • Advertising identifiers and campaign parameters (e.g., Google Click ID, Facebook Click ID)

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from advertising and lead-verification partners, including TrustedForm and Jornaya (LeadiD), which capture independent, time-stamped records of your consent to be contacted. We may also receive information from attorneys or co-marketing partners who connect us with potential claimants.

03. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Evaluate your potential eligibility to participate in a sports betting addiction lawsuit or similar legal action
  • Connect you with participating attorneys who have paid to receive leads matching your profile
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send you updates, case-status information, and other communications related to your submission
  • Send marketing communications about other legal matters you may qualify for, subject to your consent and your right to opt out
  • Operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Site and Services
  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and identify trends in user behavior
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Use
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and abuse of the Services

04. How We Share Information

We share information in the following ways:

With participating attorneys and law firms

This is a core part of our business model. When you submit your information through the case review form, we share the information you provided with one or more participating attorneys or law firms that pay to be included in our network and that handle cases of the type described on the Site. These attorneys may contact you directly to discuss your potential case. Depending on the circumstances, we may share your information with more than one attorney.

With service providers

We share information with vendors that help us run the Services, including:

  • Hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) and lead-management platforms
  • Call-tracking and call-recording providers (e.g., CallRail, Invoca)
  • TCPA compliance and consent-capture providers (e.g., TrustedForm, Jornaya/LeadiD)
  • Email and SMS delivery services
  • Advertising and marketing platforms (e.g., Google, Meta/Facebook, Microsoft)

These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us, except that advertising platforms may use information for their own purposes as described in their own privacy policies.

For legal reasons

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to: comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; protect our rights, property, or safety or that of our users or the public; enforce our Terms of Use; or investigate potential violations.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

With your consent

We may share information in additional ways when you direct or consent to it.

05. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies (“cookies”) to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure advertising performance, and deliver targeted ads. We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., form submission, security).
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how people use the Site (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Advertising cookies — used to serve and measure ads on other sites (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may limit some Site functionality.

06. Third-Party Services

The Site uses or may use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads — policies.google.com/privacy

  • TrustedForm (ActiveProspect) — activeprospect.com
  • Jornaya / LeadiD — jornaya.com/privacy-policy
  • CallRail (or other call-tracking provider) — callrail.com/privacy-notice

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

07. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

09. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California and certain other state laws treat the sharing of personal information with our participating attorneys and advertising partners as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You have the right to opt out of such sale or sharing.

To opt out

Email privacy@sportsbetlawsuit.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Info." Please include your name, email, and phone number so we can locate your record. You may also use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal, which we honor as a request to opt out for the browser from which it is sent.

Please note that opting out may affect whether your case review can proceed, since connecting you with participating attorneys is the core purpose of the Services.

10. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls, and vendor vetting. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods include:

  • Case intake records: up to 7 years to accommodate the statutes of limitations applicable to potential claims
  • TCPA consent records (TrustedForm/Jornaya): up to 5 years
  • Analytics data: as determined by the relevant analytics provider

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us at privacy@sportsbetlawsuit.com.

13. Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in the “Do Not Sell” section above.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted or communicated to you by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
